2015 Award Recipients
Each season awards are given out at the mid-season mark and after the season has been included. The awards are divided typically into three categories: Junior (12 to 15yrs old), Senior (16 to 28yrs old) and Antique (29yrs old and onwards). These are handed out by the League Commissionaire, Michael O'Hearon and are based on his observations during the games.

COACH OF THE YEAR:
Steven Zwicker, Gold
Gold started the season off firing on all cylinders and looked to be a force to be reckoned with but as the season wore on the team encountered difficulties. Steven kept the team moving forward, their eyes on the championship, constantly coaching them through tough spots and making sure that the best line-ups were on the court. A steadying influence he not only led by word but by example as he worked hard with every possession.
Runners Up: T.Kendall, White & S.Hirtle, Purple

SUBSTITUTE PLAYER OF THE YEAR:
Channing Carver
Channing was a professional sub this year, playing with almost every team and contributing every time he stepped onto the court. He was a consistent boon on offence for whatever team he played for and his defence was a pick me up for any team he played for. His love of the game was visible every time he stepped on the court as he tried his best to help every team win.

PLAYOFF PERFORMER OF THE YEAR:
Cody DeLong, Purple
Cody dominated the playoff picture with his stellar defence and professional offence. During the regular season he was steady force but in the playoffs he dominated the court. Guards were frightened to challenge him as he made huge defensive plays that turned the tides of both playoff games. His play allowed his teammates to excel and his team to cruise through both rounds of the playoffs, and bringing home the championship.

LEAGUE MOST VALUABLE PLAYER:
Mackenzie Carver, Gold
A force on the court he dominated the ball at both ends. His work on the class and controlling the paint was unmatched. His hustle made scoring difficult, if not impossible on his team. His ability to score at will was impressive as one moment he dominated the paint while the next moment he was draining the ball from distance. He plays with his passion on his sleeve and was the strongest of all the players this past season.
