C.Leary, Pink
GAME 2: Blue (69) vs. Red (76/73)

Gold needed this game to stay relevant in the playoff race but Orange wanted vengeance after their loss last week. Back and forth  the game went until  Orange made a run that seemed unsurmountable. Gold would not be cowed and quickly mounted a comeback, closing the lead behind strong performances from Andrew Johnson (25pts) and Damon Wamboldt (20pts). The Orange offence led by Michael O'Hearon (21pts) and Kyle Lowe (18pts) was enough to carry the Orange team down the stretch.  Orange snuck away with the 95 to 87 victory.
MEN OF THE MATCH:
D.Wamboldt, Gold
K.Lowe, Orange
GAME 3: Brown (78) vs. Red (61/48)
This game was a farewell for Tyler Smith who was playing in his last game before heading west. He bombed Red right out of the game early on as Tyler (29pts) hit nine from beyond the arc. Red didn't have an answer as he hit from every distance and every spot beyond the arc. Jeremiah Wagner (13pts) and Dustin Ott (13pts) played hard as subs for the Red team but weren't able to stop the North Queens Spartans  tandem of Tyler Smith and Mackenzie Carver (17pts). Brown sent  Smith off with a victory as they won 78 to 61.
MEN OF THE MATCH:
T.Smith, Brown
D.Broome, Red

WEEK 9: WHO WANTS IN - PLAYOFFS AROUND THE CORNER
GAME 1: Gold (57/55) vs. Red (81)
With their playoff lives hanging in the balance Red came out firing on all cylinders. Gold couldn't find their figure out what to do with Red barraging them from the  inside and the out. Jeremiah Wagner (16pts) slashed inside and out, providing the ball for the guards and forwards. Andrew Johnson (18pts) looked strong for Gold but they couldn't make any ground on Red and in the end Red walked away with the easy 81 to 57 victory.
MEN OF THE MATCH:
A.Johnson, Gold
J.Wagner, Red
GAME 2: Brown (78) vs. Pink (84/74)
After a haphazard game versus Blue the week before Pink looked to rebound against a very tough  Brown team. Both teams played hard the entire game with Mackenzie Carver (23pts) and Matt Trethewey (14pts) leading the Brown charge but the determined Pink pride and a mighty performance from Caleb Leary (35pts) allowed Pink to escape with the victory. In the end Brown stole a point after the sub adjustment and stole into the playoffs.
MEN OF THE MATCH:
B.Silver, Brown
C.Leary, Pink
GAME 3: Blue (61/60) vs. Orange (81)
Orange needed the win to secure top spot going into the playoffs. MEN OF THE MATCH:
A.Smith, Blue
M.O'Hearon, Orange

WEEK 10: LAST CHANCE BEFORE THE DANCE
GAME 1: Blue (61/56) vs. Brown (52)
This was the matchup of the evening as both teams were jockeying for that all important third spot in the playoffs. Unfortunately the hype didn't match the game as it was a sloppy affair with Blue holding a lead and Brown scrapping to stay in the game. In the end Wendell Weir (25pts) and Ryleigh Theriau (13pts) guided the Blue assault over Mackenzie Carver (24pts) and James Quick (10pts), allowing Blue to capture third  place  and relegate Brown to a match up with Orange in the playoffs
MEN OF THE MATCH:
W.Weir, Blue
J.Quick, Brown
GAME 2: Gold (66/61) vs. Pink (34/33)
This should have been a relaxed game with both teams playoff fates decided but tempers flared and both teams drew technicals - including an ejection. After the smoke cleared, Pink was off kilter  with only two players, Devan Dexter (10pts) and Mustapha Maynard (10pts) , hitting double figures. Gold behind Andrew Johnson (21pts) and Justin Trethewey (11pts) led the way for the Gold team who showed poise in adversity and showed a chick in the Pink armor. Gold won the match 66 to 34 in resounding fashion.
MEN OF THE MATCH:
A.Johnson, Gold
M.Maynard, Pink
GAME 3: Orange (88) vs. Red (54/50)
Orange was coasting into the playoffs and Red was finished  for their chances at the playoffs so both teams came out and played a pleasant game down the stretch. Orange behind exceptional play from Drew Frank (6pts) at both ends of the court were motivated to win . Jeremiah (10pts) spurred Red on in the game but didn't get much in the way of support offensively as Orange finished the season strong and looks almost unbeatable going into the playoffs. The final from this one was 88 to 54.
MEN OF THE MATCH:
D.Frank, Orange
J.Ott, Red

WEEK 11: THE PLAYOFFS - ROUND 1
GAME 1: Gold (83) vs. Red (80)
In the Consolation Bracket  Red and Gold played an intense and high powered fun game. Both teams were firing on all cylinders and played excellent basketball. Gold, playing shorthanded, were led by Andrew Johnson (35pts) and managed to spread the score quite a bit before Red behind the guard play of Mike Zinck (28pts) and Jeremiah Wagner (19pts) brought the game close. With Bailey Zinck (15pts) keeping Red at an arms length the game came down to a tense buzzer beater that rimmed out and allowed Gold to step away with the 83 to 80 victory.
MEN OF THE MATCH:
B.Zinck, Gold
J.Wagner, Red
GAME 2: Blue (57) vs. Pink (89)
With a suspension from last week leaving MVP candidate  Caleb Leary benched, Blue was in prime position to cause an upset. Early on it looked like  Blue would pull the upset but Mustapha Maynard (25pts) took charge of the game and controlled both ends of the court.  Moose rallied his troops and got them on the same page, while Blue tried to gain footing behind a strong game from Steven Zwicker (18pts) but it wasn't enough as Pink rolled past Blue 89 to 57 in the first semi-final game . Now they just had to wait for the winner of the last game of the evening.
MEN OF THE MATCH:
S.Zwicker, Blue
A.Slauenwhite, Pink
GAME 3: Brown (83) vs. Orange (81)
Orange plays a finesse  game while Brown plays a gritty , in your face kind of game. This game was played on Brown's terms and for the majority of the game they controlled the tempo and pace. When Allan carver (13pts) hit his first three pointer of the season it was clear that Brown was getting the bounces. Orange tried to rally behind Channing Carver (26pts) but with Mackenzie Carver (30pts) leading the Brown assault the upset was on and no prayers from Orange could stop the Brown upset from happening as they won 83 to 81.
MEN OF THE MATCH:
M.Carver, Brown
L.Young, Orange

WEEK 12: THE PLAYOFFS - ROUND 2
GAME 1: Gold (80) vs. Orange (87)
This game was forfeited by Gold but players divided up and a game was played. Orange players played hard, with an edge to them as they felt they should be in the championship game. Orange ran the ball behind Caleb Barry (22pts) and Channing Carver (20pts) while Gold played the perimeter  behind Bailey Weagle (27pts) and Michael O'Hearon (20pts). In the end fun was had by all the players and Orange grabbed its final win of the lost season 87 to 80.
MEN OF THE MATCH:
B.Weagle, Gold
C.Barry, Orange
GAME 2: Blue (65) vs. Red (78)
In the other consolation game Blue and Red locked horns in an amusing game. Both teams played hard throughout the game and enjoyed heated competition. Red played some high pressure defence and managed to get some easy fast break baskets. Daniel Looke (23pts) and Jacob Ott (15pts) led the Red fast break while Ryleigh Theriau (26pts) and Wendell Weir (22pts) countered for Blue but Red slipped away with the win, 78 to 65.
MEN OF THE MATCH:
R.Theriau, Blue
D.Looke, Red
GAME 3: Brown (56) vs. Pink (58)
The championship game was a pit fight and probably the best game that was played  in Spring League history. Pink burst out to a quick release in the game behind Caleb Leary (28pts)  but Brown slammed him down and played hack-a-player down the stretch. Behind Matt Trethewey (16pts) who rallied the troops, Brown stormed back in the second half to draw within two when a last second shot rimmed out and sent  Pink to the championship.
MEN OF THE MATCH:
M.Trethewey, Brown
C.Leary, Pink

WEEK 13: ALL-STAR FESTIVITIES
SKILLS COMPETITION:
Free-Throw Competition: Channing Carver
Three-Point Competition: Andrew Johnson
GAME 1: Team 1(54) vs. Team 2 (68)
The Junior Leagues stepped up  and provided an excellent game as their offence was on full display. Both teams pushed the tempo and  pounded the  ball inside  and in the second half Wendell Weir (32pts) took over the game. Along with Anthony Smith (13pts) the Team 2 All-Stars out dueled Caleb Barry (12pts) and Dylan Lowe (9pts) as Team 2 captured the win in the Junior/Senior All-Star Game.

MEN OF THE MATCH:
C. Barry, Team 1
W.Weir, Team 2
GAME 2: Team 1 (105) vs. Team 2 (100) *OT
This game was what the All-Star game needed. Both teams said to heck with defence and played offence with reckless abandon. Alley-oops were tossed and three pointers were taken as both teams tried to light up the scoreboard. Both teams drew even at the end of regulation  and overtime was decided when the boys from North Queens shut the door and escaped with the 105 to 100 victory. Leading scorers were Channing Carver  (38pts) for Team 1 and Kyle Zinck (32pts for Team 2.
MEN OF THE MATCH:
C.Carver, Team 1
